HeatPro and HeatLoss

programs provide estimates at major suppliers including Familian,  Ferguson,  Hughes, Winnelson, and many other contractors throughout the US and Canada. An important reason is that installers who use the HeatPro program do not make the mistake of installing ductwork that is too small for cooling, which causes coil icing, condensation on the duct, and inadequate cooling - the right size snap duct is AUTOMATIC.

It is easier and faster to use and understand than more expensive programs. It uses the same ASHRAE and Manual J formulas, so arrives at the same numbers. The program is a result of suggestions by long-time (20 years) users of the program.

Some Vista owners say that they have to set the security permissions lower to allow the program to run. HeatPro loads and begins the first screen, but doesn't allow input into the boxes without setting lower permissions.  Once set lower, the program runs as on XP.

The program will be sent on a CD. It loads itself into the computer and makes start icons. It is too large to be downloaded.
